Our Mission Here At Hillsdale

The Athletic Boosters is an all-parent volunteer organization benefiting all athletes across all sports at Hillsdale High School.  Through a number of athletic-oriented social events and volunteer activities throughout the year, the Athletic Boosters raises and spends more than $110,000 annually to supplement the athletic department budget and provide critical programmatic and infrastructure needs not covered by district funding.

The Athletic Boosters promotes school and community support of the Hillsdale High School athletic program through: (1) collection of athlete participation donations; (2) hosting of annual golf tournament and Super Bowl tailgate party events; and (3) sales of concessions and Hillsdale logo apparel. Available funding is distributed in accordance with the following priorities:

  1. Safety – Promotes increased safety of Hillsdale athletes.
  2. Equity – Provides support across all athletic programs.
  3. Need – Fills a critical infrastructure, programmatic, or financial need that is not adequately covered by other funding sources.
  4. Opportunity – Benefits the greatest number of Hillsdale athletes.
  5. Impact to Competition – Necessary for competition or improves Hillsdale competitive advantage.

To volunteer, provide financial or other in-kind support and / or be added to our mailing list, please contact the Athletic Boosters President Doug Leighton at

The Athletic Boosters organizes and staffs food and beverage concessions at major sporting events throughout the year, including football, basketball, and baseball games.

Family Passes - once we have more information on the Winter and Spring seasons, we will communicate how to obtain a pass

Available for sale through the Athletic Boosters, family passes admit 2 adults and 2 non-high school children into all regular season football and basketball games at SMUHS District Schools.  High school students are encouraged to purchase PAL stickers for their student ID cards (available through the school), which provide reduced admission to sporting events for students.  To purchase a family pass, please contact the Family Passes Chairperson.
