Knights Update

Girl's Tennis Takes The Win vs. Woodside!

Dear Parents and Lady Knights, Today we won our match versus Woodside 4-3, and our team had fought very hard to earn it. Unfortunately, our no. 2 singles player Ellie had a back injury and could not play today, and so we had no choice but to move up the rest of our players to play, notably Danielle who moved up from no. 1 doubles to no. 4 singles. Our top 3 singles players had won their matches, while our 3 doubles teams were defeated, so Danielle was the key player that secured our 4-3 win. She kept fighting for the team and played for almost two hours until 7pm to win against her opponent 4-6, 6-2, 6-1. Thanks to those of you who ended up staying to cheer Danielle on until the very end of her match. And thanks to the parent drivers for also sticking around to make sure that the rest of the players were driven back home safely. I am so so very proud of Danielle for playing her best today and representing Hillsdale High School! Good job Lady Knights, and I’ll see you all tomorrow! Go Knights! -Coach Jackie
